The Australian Air League operates a progressive badge system to cater for all our members. as well at attending classes 'in
squadron' members can attend various education training days and camps operated by Victoria Group. At these camps members
utilise experienced instructors to gain badges not usually possible at the own squadron.
Education Badge System
The education badge system is organised into three levels. there are all 3 levels for almost every badge.
Class 3 (red) badges which concentrate on fundamental knowledge
Class 2 (white) Badges which concentrate on moderate knowledge
Class 1 (blue) Badges which concentrate on professional knowledge
In addition to the 3 level badge system, the Air League offers a General Proficiency badge series containing 6 badges
In order to award the instructors of these classes, the Air League awards a Instructor badge series containing 8 badges.
The Australian Air League offers a 'Air League Diploma' course for members who excel in education. The diploma is seperated
into three stages of increasing difficulty.
Requirements;
1) members must complete 18 specific badges in three stages.
2) The Diploma must be completed within a maximum of 5 years.
3) The member must have approximately 80% attendance at squadron.
