
| In the Australian Air League all necessary training is provided for you. You can enter as a Cadet, Officer or Branch member and with the drive to succeed and the willingness to learn, you will go far in our organisation. |
NCO Training Days/Camps
Victoria Group operates various NCO training days/camps at intervals throughout the year. At these camps Cadets receive the knowledge skill and experience needed to progress to their next rank. subjects included on these days/camps are; - Leadership Training
- Drill Movements
- Customs and Courtesies of the League
- Communication Skills
- Instructor training
Officer Training Days/Camps
Victoria Group operates various Officer training days/camps at various intervals throughout the year. At these camps adult members receive the relevant knowledge, skill and experience needed to gain there officers warrant, a legal necessity. Officers who already have their Officers Warrant can use these camps to further their skills and become more productive members of the Air League. Subjects included on these days/camps are; - Squadron administration
- Financial administration
- Instructional techniques
- Communication skills
- Legal guidelines
- Air League operations
Cadet Training Days/Camps
Victoria Group operates various general purpose training days for its members. At these general purpose training days members can gain experience and training that is not usually undertaken at squadron level. Some of these include; - Field training days
- Branch member training days
- Air Activities training days
- Education training days/camps
The AAL Victoria Group are now required to ensure that all members over the age of 18 years undergo a [Volunteer ]Working With Children Check, which is handled through the GExC. We are no longer required to undergo a Police check. |
